The term caipira can also be applied to the different cultural manifestations of the caipiras, such as their music, dialects and accents.
The Caipira accent was strongly influenced by the old Ñe’engatú (Amazonian general language) spoken throughout Brazil until the 19th century. currently, the Modern Ñe’engatú is Official language in São Gabriel da Cachoeira and widely spoken by many Brazilian indigenous and mestizos and spoken in some regions of Colombia and Venezuela.
The diminutive form derived from the caipira noun, caipirinha, is known as a cocktail worldwide.
